One of the hottest brands for vegan fast food, Slutty vegan, announced a new location in Duluth, GA, due to open in late 2021. The new location will be the fourth location for the Atlanta-based restaurant founded by activist and entrepreneur Pinky Cole.
“Our goal is to reinvent the vegan food culture” – Pinky Cole
The black-owned fast food specialist, Slutty Vegan, started out as a food truck and has since taken the plant-based world by storm. Customers often stand around the block for the vegan burgers, sandwiches, and branded meals made with impossible meat.
Activism is at the heart of Slutty Vegan and The Pinky Cole Foundation, with campaigns ranging from collaborating with Impossible Foods to increase voter turnout, join forces with PETA in the fight against food deserts and for food justice.
âIn my opinion, aâ slutty vegan âis someone who is vegan but enjoys junk food. Our goal is to reinvent the vegan eating culture, where vegans and meat eaters can break free of kale and quinoa salads and enjoy creative burgers, sandwiches and plant-based meals. If we can get people to try vegan options, I think we are a step in the right direction. âPinky Cole previously mentioned it Hello Beautiful in an interview.
