Exercise courses for children at Park Drive Health Club Maldon


A PERFORMING arts teacher starts a new fitness class for children at a Maldon gym.

Sarah Shepherd, from Maldon, is preparing to return home with her new theater fitness classes.

The mother-of-two hopes to improve children’s health and happiness with her mood-boosting exercise classes for preschoolers, toddlers, juniors and seniors at Park Drive Health Club.

A free trial lesson will take place on Sunday 11th September and the lessons will take place in six weekly semi-annual blocks.

Sarah, who has 22 years of experience, said: “As a mother of two myself, I’m passionate about motivating our children to get up and engage in regular physical activity, never more than since the pandemic.

“The benefits to their physical and mental health are undeniable.

“Thrive At Park Drive is the culmination of all my experiences as a teacher and parent.

“Family life is so hectic and juggling is real. I really hope that Thrive at Park Drive will be the highlight of each week.

“I have such fond memories of visiting Park Drive on Sundays as a kid with my family.

“It means so much to me to be back here and creating these healthy experiences for a new generation.”
