FORT HOOD, Texas – Fort Hood officials opened the Liberty Village Splash Pad and Playground near the Liberty Village community center here on Oct. 14 during a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The project is part of a $ 1.1 billion renovation to improve the quality of life for soldiers and their families, targeting six posts across the Army.
“This is a great opportunity to come out and support the community,” said Col. Chad Foster, Garrison Commander of Fort Hood, “especially since the 11th Signal Brigade is the organization that supports and interacts with the community on a daily basis.”
