HAMILTON star Miguel Cervantes joins the Children’s Health Fund NYC fundraiser


The Children’s Health Fund announced its upcoming fundraising event, a Hamilton Experience, featuring stars from the Tony Award-winning musical Hamilton, at 6:00 p.m. on November 8th at TAO Downtown in New York City. The event will help raise funds to ensure children from underserved communities across the country have access to the health care they need to be successful.

The evening will showcase the incredible talent of Chris Lee who played in Hamilton Marquis de Lafayette & Thomas Jefferson from 2016-2018. As an actor, singer, dancer and musician, Lee has played roles in Legacies and The Chi, among others. He writes and performs his own music and has released albums and singles in recent years. Lee is accompanied by the equally talented Miguel Cervantes, who is currently playing the title role at the Richard Rogers Theater. Cervantes is also known for his role as Hamilton in the production at the Chicago PrivateBank Theater. Cervantes starred in If / Then, American Idiot, 25th Annual … Spelling Bee and many others on Broadway. Additional cast members will be announced shortly.

Actress Amirah Vann, best known for her role as Tegan Price on ABC’s How to Get Away With Murder and nominated for an NAACP Image Award for her role as Ernestine in Underground, will also attend. Amirah Vann has worked with the Children’s Health Fund in the past to promote children’s health.

“We are pleased that our supporters can personally participate in this unique experience. It’s been too long since we’ve enjoyed each other’s company and the funds raised through this event are more important than ever, ”said Arturo Brito, MD, MPH, President and CEO of Children’s Health Fund.

In addition to the show, on this special occasion, participants will be served Pan-Asian delicacies curated by the TAO Downtown chef.
