Veganism also reduces the risk of cancer as it has a wealth of potential nutrients that may reduce the risk of certain types of cancer, including breast cancer.

“Plant-based foods are made up of thousands of phytochemicals that are known to stop tumor growth and reduce the production of cancer-related hormones,” she adds.

Karishma has also adapted to veganism for its environmental benefits. “After encountering the fact that being vegan prevents a tremendous amount of environmental exploitation, animal slaughter and suffering, I discovered a strong sense of veganism and set out to educate people around the world.”

She claims that reducing meat reduces a person’s carbon footprint by up to 79 percent.

People should also engage in mindfulness practices that require nothing but your attention to your mind and body. These exercises will help you relieve stress and eliminate your anxiety by getting you to catch your breath. It’s a divine place to rest and quiet your mind,” she says.

Finally, Karishma believes that green nutrition is born from the idea that everyone’s health is linked to the health of the environment.
