OwnersBox Week 4 Superflex Salary Cap

Week 1 at OwnersBox was a blast. The Superflex Salary Cap Contest was everything we hoped for and more. We hope that you have all taken advantage of the free entries and that you can work with some profits for the rest of the season. The Superflex format brings more and more variance and strategy and OwnersBox delivered. The field size has shrunk from what we said in week 1, and while that may mean a smaller overall pot, it also means less competition. Weeks 2 and 3 were just as exciting as Week 1 at OwnersBox. Turning to Week 4, there are some fascinating values across the board, four of which we will highlight below.

Zack Moss (RB – BUF): $ 4,800
Zack Moss is in a touchdown streak for two games and is in a prime position to continue the good times this Sunday. After Moss was inactivated surprisingly healthy in Week 1, in favor of Matt Breida, Moss scored two quick touchdowns in Week 2 before leading the Bills in touch and finding the end zone through the air in Week 3. He averages 16 Fantasy Points per game on OwnersBox, making him an RB1 for three weeks of play. The Bills should see a positive game script against Davis Mills and the Houston Texans that should feed both Moss and Devin Singletary. The Bills want Moss to take the lead again in their backcourt, so as long as he keeps producing, he should keep building the position in touch. This season, Houston has given opposing running backs the tenth most fantasy points, giving Moss an edge on sneaky RB1 at an RB3 salary. Roster Moss where possible for a high upside option on a low day.

Emmanuel Sanders (WR – BUF): $ 4,500
Emmanuel Sanders campaigned for the Buffalo Bills. He had his best game of the season in Week 3, posting five receptions, 94 yards and two touchdowns, all season highs. He’s showing a solid relationship with Josh Allen, and there should be more good things in Week 4. Sanders has a plus match against a below-par Houston Texans secondary school this weekend and should be able to feast across from Stefon Diggs. Houston is a tough matchup on paper for fantasy points allowed for the position, but the Cleveland game needs to be put in context. Jarvis Landry was injured and Odell Beckham Jr. was still on pause, leaving the already strong Browns with Rashad Higgins and Donovan Peoples-Jones as their two top receivers. Target the Bills veterans (including Cole Beasley) for Week 4 at OwnersBox and allow yourself the flexibility to flirt with some high-paying options elsewhere.

Derrick Henry (RB – TEN): $ 8,300
Derrick Henry still feels like worth despite the $ 8,300 salary. Always at the heart of the Titans offensive, he has an enormous matchup against a New York Jets team, giving up the second most fantasy points per game to the running back position. If we add Julio Jones and AJ Brown’s absence from the competition this weekend due to hamstring injuries, Derrick Henry could line up against the Jets for over 30 quality carries. He sees more work in passing than in the past, which bodes well for his fantasy soil. Henry should continue to act as an outlet for a Titans offensive that will dig deep into their depth chart and practice team to get enough healthy body to play receivers. Roster Henry will be doing some salary cap gymnastics elsewhere, but his salary may keep him on a low roster. He’s one of the safest options in a position full of uncertainty – pocket Henry with the fantastic matchup.

Deebo Samuel (WR – SF): $ 5,500
Deebo Samuel did an excellent job in three weeks of action. He went through in Week 1 with nine receptions for 189 yards and one touchdown. Although he’s slowed down a bit since then, he’s received an average of nine targets, 5.5 receptions, and 72.25 yards in the two weeks since. He was the number one recipient of the 49ers and has a plus match against a Seattle Seahawks defense that was burned by the number one they have faced this season. Samuel has averaged 18.3 Fantasy Points per game during the season and will endeavor to match that feat in an expected high score affair. The total for this competition is set at 52 points, which suggests the Seahawks should score enough points to force the 49ers to keep going on the gas in the passing game. Samuel is a WR3 pricing option with a proven WR1 upside. Arrange it where it is needed.
