SUMMARY: A May 28, 2010that Office of Administration and Budget (OMB) has issued a Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) policy regarding the “general” release process. In general, this is an expedited process whereby authorities can obtain consent from OMBs to collect requests for information that are “typically voluntary, inexpensive, and non-controversial collections,” raise no substantive or policy issues, and do not require any policies or methods to be verified. The process requires the submission of an overall plan that defines the scope of each collection that would fall under its umbrella. on October 23, 2011, OMB approved our original application to use the general clearance procedure under control number 0938-1148 (CMS-10398). It was last approved on April 26, 2021via the standard PRA process, which included 60 and 30 days publication federal register Hints. The scope of April 2021 Umbrella accounts for Medicaid and CHIP state plan changes, waivers, demonstrations, and reporting. That federal register Notice solicits public comment on one or more of our collection of information requests that we believe are general and fall within the scope of the Umbrella. Interested persons are invited to provide comments on our pressure estimates or other aspects of this information collection, including: necessity and usefulness of the proposed information collection for the proper performance of the agency’s tasks, accuracy of the estimated pressure, ways to improve the quality, usefulness and clarity of the information to be collected Information and use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology to minimize the burden of information collection.
