1. A groundbreaking new burger from Finnebrogue
The family-run brand Finnebrogue Artisan has announced a new burger that it claims will compete with the Beyond Burger.
The Naked Evolution Burgers will retail for £ 3.00 a pack of two and will initially be available in Waitrose, Ocado and Dunnes stores.
The burgers are made from pea protein and are both soy and gluten free.
2. Candy Kittens enters the gummy bear category with ‘Gourmies’
Candy Kittens has launched three gourmet gummy candy flavors with a range of brand new “Gourmies”.
The candies are designed for “big palates” with the delicious flavors Orchard Apple & Dragon Fruit, Sweet Raspberry & Guava and Blood Orange & Pomegranate.
Gourmies has already been launched on the brand’s online store and is launching in Ocado, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Tesco at a suggested retail price of £ 2 per 125g recyclable bag.
3. New ready meals from Bosh in Morrisons
An assortment of six chilled vegan ready meals from BOSH! started in Morrisons.
The vegan ready meals, including shepherd’s pie and chilli non-carne, were launched in stores on September 13 and cost £ 4 each.
The range will be launched exclusively in 472 Morrisons stores, but will be launched in all stores next year.
4. Greggs launches hot breakfast sandwiches
Greggs has expanded its vegan range with two new warm breakfast sandwich fillings.
Hungry vegans on the go can choose between vegan sausage or vegan bacon for their most important meal of the day.
Greggs’ vegan range also includes hash browns and a range of sweet treats and savory pastries.
5. Costa is now serving vegan bacon rolls
Looking for tasty options for a hot vegan breakfast? Costa has also launched a meat-free bacon sandwich.
The new Bac’n Bap is available as part of the coffee chain’s autumn menu and is made from Finnebrogues Naked Without The Oink Bacon.
6. Look out for the new Greedy Vegan Service
The newly launched subscription service offers vegan proteins straight to your home.
Greedy vegan aim to make switching to a plant-based diet easier by providing an easy way to find popular vegan brands.
The service currently only operates in South London but will be expanded in the near future!
