The first-ever vegan and gluten-free chocolate wafer has hit the market in the United States. Trupo Treats developed the crunchy waffles, which are now available in three flavors: chocolate, hazelnut and peanut butter. The creamy bars made history as North America’s first and only vegan and gluten-free chocolate-covered wafer bars.
The bars are also sustainable and proudly Rainforest Alliance Certified, Non-GMO Project Verified, Gluten-Free Certified, and OU Kosher.
Trupo Treats was founded in 2020 by two twin brothers and longtime vegans. The company’s motto, “Veganizing Your Childhood Favorites™,” aligns with their hits like this MYLK Chocolate Rice Crunch Bars and MYLK chocolate caramels.
The Trupo twins make sure their business is environmentally friendly and doesn’t harm animals. The company has partnered with over 100 animal shelters and donated over $10,000 in proceeds. They have also pledged to donate over 10 percent of net profits to animal shelters and other sustainable or humanitarian causes around the world. They have an ambitious goal of donating over $1 million to charities annually by 2030.
