“My workout routine is kind of crazy because I travel a lot,” she said Kung Fu Kingdom. “Well, I don’t really have a set routine, but of course wrestling is my priority. I have some great people who also help me with things like diet and whenever I have time I train in judo and jiu-jitsu. So a lot depends on my travel plan, but for the ring material I always prepare for it.
Tay has another surprising hobby to keep fit: soccer. “I started judo at a football club, so I’ve always had a love for football. So it’s like jiu-jitsu, MMA, all martial arts, then soccer!” she said of her passions.
Tay eats healthily as often as possible. “I try to eat super clean – but of course I end up eating pizza and burgers! Every time I’m out, I try to eat super clean. Rice and steak are my favorite every time, and I love carbs too, so I have something with carbs every day,” she told Kung Fu Kingdom.
During a previous trip to Tulum, she shared photos and videos of an outdoor workout that included squats and pull-ups in her bathing suit. “I’m in love with Jungle Gym 😍 Bikini workout with ocean view…it’s to die for,” she tweeted of the outdoor gym.
Tay lives by the following mantra: “Believe in yourself.” She said to Kung Fu Kingdom: It’s so simple and cliche, but I think it’s really important. If you believe in yourself and work hard, anything can happen. Whether you’re poor or rich and your family helps you, if you believe in yourself and work hard, you’ll be able to do whatever you want.”
